Direct Deposit
IC Credit Union’s Direct deposit service electronically transfers funds directly into a member’s bank account. Direct deposit offers several benefits, including the convenience of not needing to visit a branch location, quicker access to funds compared to paper checks, enhanced security by reducing the risk of lost or stolen checks, and reliable, timely payments without mailing delays.
How Does Direct Deposit Work?
Direct deposit works by having the member provide their IC Credit Union account information to their employer, who then sets up the deposit with their bank. On the scheduled payment date, the employer’s bank transfers the funds electronically through the ACH network to IC Credit Union, which deposits the money into the member’s account–making it available for use immediately, or within one business day.
How to Set Up Direct Deposit?
Members can set up direct deposit during normal operating hours at any of IC Credit Union’s branch locations.
How Does Getting Paid 2 Days Early Work?
Getting paid 2 days early means that your paycheck is deposited into your account up to two days before the official payday! IC Credit Union credits your account as soon as we receive the payment instructions from your employer– rather than waiting until the scheduled payday.
This is a valuable benefit for our members because it provides quicker access to their earnings, which can help with managing expenses, avoiding late fees, and improving cash flow. It adds a level of financial flexibility and convenience–allowing our members to meet their financial obligations more efficiently.
