Bank Checks

A bank check, also known as a cashier’s check or official check, is a check issued by a bank and drawn from the bank’s own funds rather than the account holder’s personal account. When you request a bank check, the bank withdraws the amount from your account and issues a check with its own funds. This makes a bank check a more secure form of payment, as the funds are guaranteed by the bank, reducing the risk of the check bouncing. Bank checks are often a preferred method used for large transactions or when the payee requires a guaranteed form of payment.
